For anyone who has ever started a sentence with “back in my day,” this deal is for you.
McDonald’s is launching a promotion titled “Throwback Deals” where customers can purchase one of their favorite items like cheeseburgers, fries, and apple pies for as little as 25 cents.
Every Thursday up until February 18th, McDonald’s will feature a different item on the menu as part of the promotion. Next week, McDonald’s is offering a small shake for only $0.25.
The fast food chain will also be offering an apple pie, large fries, and a cheeseburger in the coming weeks. In order to take advantage of this deal, you must download the McDonald’s app and a minimum purchase of $1 is required.
McDonald’s has ran its fair share of promotions lately. For example, Travis Scott partnered with McDonald’s last year and made $20 million from the deal. There was a Travis Scott meal that was out for a limited time that included a quarter pounder with cheese, bacon, and lettuce, a Sprite, and fries with barbecue sauce. It was so popular, there was actually a shortage in ingredients.
Everyone on social media did the advertising for McDonald’s as there were tons of tweets, videos, and TikToks promoting the meal.
McDonald’s followed that deal up by partnering with J Balvin and this time, the meal consisted of a Big Mac, medium fries with ketchup, and an oreo McFlurry.
McDonald’s has been busy with promotions this past year and we’ll have to keep an eye out and see who may be promoting a meal at McDonald’s next.
