Unicorn HRO – Motion Graphic Video

Unicorn HRO provides fully integrated human resources solutions that empower organizations to do business with greater employee engagement and efficiency. The company’s HRIS technology platform offers a centralized system to manage all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, benefits administration, training and employee self-service.

Business Challenge

Differentiating Unicorn HRO amongst competitors required presenting their full suite of solutions in an effective and visual manner. Springboard recommended developing a motion graphic video that showcased the company’s core solutions – specifically human resources, payroll, benefits administration, and employee self-service. The video needed to be web-ready and accessible across all platforms and devices.

Process

Springboard worked with Unicorn HRO on the script and developed a storyboard, with sketched out scenes that articulated the narrative. Once the script was finalized, Springboard began illustrating the pencil and digital sketches to frame out the overall look, feel, and flow of the video. After the illustration was approved, the animation phase began, integrating movement in key areas of the video. In addition to handling motion graphic production, Springboard also managed voiceover talent, as well as integrating music and special effects.

From script development to delivering the final file, the entire process took approximately four weeks. Upon approval, Springboard added the video to Vimeo and coordinated placement on Unicorn HRO’s website.

Results

Within a month, Springboard successfully developed and produced an animated motion graphic video covering the complete suite of software solutions provided by Unicorn HRO. The video is displayed on the company’s website including the resources page, and serves as a key marketing asset that presents prospective customers with a quick, yet comprehensive overview of Unicorn HRO’s centralized platform.
